Subject: Livestock
Or howsabout 'good slaves' Hmmm See the days of chattel slavery are over, we are all now seen as a giant herd of livestock to be cultivated and made more productive. Training does help in that endeavor. Education and self-aware people are anethema. The yeoman farmer or commoner with is own lands are long gone, the closest remnant would be family-owned enterprises. But these are threatened by the globalisation as well. The small family farm is GONE the few that remain are begging for subsidies, or the next generation is just waiting for pappy to die off so the place can be sold to some faceless conglomerate.
What is the answer?
My answer is to withdraw from this machine, as best I can. Someone posted on the Amish. They did it (and continue to do so) a long time ago and peacefully to boot! No hippie communes will do. This must be a real grassroots effort or individual revolution (ever notice how close that is to revelation?) No one can be coerced or reformed and even the largest, most powerful governments/corporations cannot own me without my consent. The worst they can do is kill me. Not likely. I'll take my own path and live frugal and self-aware, for me there is no other way.
